I want to maximise the suite of legal services I presently offer across the multiple jurisdictions in which I am authorised to practice, raise the standards of the provision of legal services across the same jurisdictions as well as offering pro bono legal services to SDG aligned needs globally.
I have a record of achievement at institutions of learning and gained recognition for performing professionally by seeking out and following related international best practices. I have equally gained a diverse range of experiences benefitting my practice, through work, and whilst taking the bar, at law school, during university, and through my internships. Additionally, as a person who is consistently involved in multiple spheres of activity, I have developed very good of organisational skills, whilst also using my time effectively. This has facilitated successful outcomes in a number of projects simultaneously, working both individually and as a member of teams. In the course of both my academic and professional careers, I have also adopted a structured approach in every task for which I have assumed any responsibility, irrespective of the degree. I equally undertake increasing levels of responsibility both professionally and personally, whilst maintaining levels of service and performance. At the same time, I always endeavour to maintain a balance with social and recreational interests.
I have attended the following extraneous training courses & leadership courses:
FIA University Senior Executive Program, Colombia University (2018)
FIA University Emerging Leaders Program, Esade Business School (2013)
Foundation in Mediation, Lambeth Mediation Service (2005)
Management and Entrepreneurship, London School of Economics (2002)
My communication skills are continuously developing through written and oral advocacy in arbitrations, my written advices to clients, and in the performance of my duties, and speaking at the FIA and FIM. Additionally, I am constantly engaging with clients and colleagues, as well as addressing queries and implementing instructions on their behalf and in collaboration, respectively.
Whilst performing legal tasks, my management skills have also evolved significantly as a result of perpetually executing multiple sets of instructions for clients, keeping them properly informed, coordinating cases and overseeing lawyers, as well as improving the efficiency and support capabilities of our administrative officers, and seamlessly organising multiple forms of voluminous information.
I am constantly agreeing terms of service with clients relating to litigation, dispute resolution and corporate cases at each of the offices where I provide legal services. This has developed my ability to ensure, whether working in teams, or individually, that I draw upon the requisite skills and experience, and make available all necessary resources in order to provide clients with the correct legal services, in the particular set of circumstances.
